    Representatives of forty-something embassies took part in this year’s commemoration which took part in the Famine Warhouse 1848, Ballingarry, Thurles, County Tipperary in Ireland.

    On Saturday 30th September, 2017 the Deputy Head of The Polish Mission Łukasz Chimiak took part in a ceremony organized in the framework of the National Commemoration of the Great Famine. On behalf of the Polish people, counsellor Łukasz Chimiak laid a wreath at the Famine Warhouse in memory of those who suffered loss during the Irish famine as well as for those who endure hunger today.
